The Wondrous Essence Of The Three Buddha Bodies

The Dharmakaya (Body of Reality) is nonconceptual enlightend mind and the unity of unchanging bliss and emptiness. It is timeless awareness that percieves, that all phenomena do not exist as such. It is this single timeless awareness, that nevertheless knows everything, all at once. The teacher here is the lord Samantabhadra, forefather of all Buddhas, who realises all phenomena to be His own manifestation. Also His circle of disciples, the Buddhas is His unobstructed expression-ocean like sacred circels of enlightenment's bodies and wisdom, appearing as anything whatsoever.

The Sambogakhaya (Enjoyment Body) is the unceasing manifest form aspect, the radiance of awareness,in a myriad array as enlightend forms and pure realms. It is the oneness of the enjoyment of the full richness of all phenomena, with the elimination of mental immages based on dualistic perception. Here the energy channels and seminal points are naturally expressed as supreme bliss. The teacher here is Vajradhara. His circle of disciples is the five Buddha families, appearing as wisdom's natural inner glow, free from formulations of being identical or different. The components of mundane cyclic existence find their natural expression as the deities of the mandalas.Always in unchanging purelands, surroundet by retinues of countless queens, they abide inseperable with all extasy. That extasy is the bliss of samadhi focused on the dharmadatu, the ultimate truth. There is bliss of the mind, bliss from desirebale forms, bliss of union and so on.The actual Sambogakhaya can only be percieved by Buddhas. But there is a symbolic expression of this purelands wich.can be expirienced by great Bodhisattvas.

The Nirmanakhaya (Emanational Body) is timeless awareness that demonstrates to ordinary beings the means to become free of delusion and to awaken to the state of a Buddha.

All three kayas are in fact facets of a single timeless awareness; this is the significance of the primordial unity of the three kayas.

This material was almost completly taken from the works of Jamgong Kongtrul Rinpoche, Dudjom Rinpoche and Thinley Norbu Rinpoche. It is definetly authentic contend of the Buddhist tantra
